Greyhound Racing Editorial Illustration

Self-initiated illustration for a National Geographic article discussing the ethics of greyhound racing, revealing allegations of cruelty and animal abuse in the industry. Greyhounds are debated to be the only mentioned dogs in the bible, and frequent classical art, so I positioned them with the hare they are forced to chase in a loosely inspired by stained glass window layout, to signal the respect that greyhounds used to hold, lost to racing. Created with a reduction lino-print.
